How to Add and Edit Medication Logistics in the Mobile App
Medication Logistics is a tool to enable team members to document medication deliveries of injectable and non-injectable medications.
Medication Logistics
The Visits icon navigates to two areas:
- Medication Logistics to document Medication Delivery
- Visits to document details of the client visit
To navigate between these areas, tap the down arrow at the top of the screen.
The user can view, add, and edit injectable and non-injectable medications delivered or attempted to be delivered to clients
Screen Navigation
- Select Client: Click the drop-down arrow to select client
- Client Information ribbon
- Click the down arrow box to expand the client’s profile
- Click the up-arrow box to hide the client’s profile
- Medications ribbon: Scroll left and right to select and view information about All Medications or specific medications delivered
- Click to select All Medication or a specific medication
- Details of the selected medication appear under the month ribbon; scroll up to see details by date
- Month ribbon: Click the left and right arrows to select month and view medication information by date of month
- Medications not delivered filter checkbox: Check to view information about medications not delivered for the selected month
- Medication delivery details
- Initials of team member responsible for medication delivery for the day
- Delivery date and time OR
- Abbreviated reason when not delivered
- Add Medication Delivery button
Add Medication Delivery
This function allows users to document delivery or non-delivery of medications to a client
Delivery - Non-Injectable
- Click the Add Medication Delivery button
- Select Medications
- Click the drop-down arrow at the right of Select Medications
- Click to select Non-Injectable
- Click Select All to select listed medications OR
- Click the radio buttons to select individual medications
- Click Save at the top right of the screen
- Select Responsible Team Member (team member confirming delivery)
- Click the drop-down arrow at the right of Select Responsible Team Member to select team a team member if different than the pre-populated team member
- Add notes (optional)
- Select Delivery Date
- Click the calendar icon to change the date if different than the pre-populated date
- Select Delivery Time
- Click the clock icon to change the time if different than the pre-populated time
- Click Save at the top right of the screen
Medication delivery is added to the bottom of the mobile app screen AND to the web application
Mobile App Web App
Delivery – Injectable, Ongoing Therapy
The VCP does not allow for multiple selection of injectable delivery because of an increased risk of medication error secondary to multiple injectable schedules; injectables must be selected individually
- Click the Add Medication Delivery button
- Select Medications
- Click the drop-down arrow at the right of the Select Medications field
- Click to select Injectable
- Click the radio button to select individual medication
- Click Save at the top right of the screen
- Select Responsible Team Member (team member who confirmed delivery)
- Click the drop-down arrow in at the right of the Select Medications field to select team a team member if different than the pre-populated logged in team member
- Add Note (optional)
- Select Delivery Date
- Click the calendar icon to change the date if different than the pre-populated date
- Select Delivery Time
- Click the clock icon to change the time if different than the pre-populated time
- Select Next Due Date
- Next due date cannot be earlier than current (today) date
- Click Save at the top right of the screen

- Click the Add Medication Delivery button
- Select Medications
- Click the drop-down arrow at the right of the Select Medications field
- Click to select Injectable
- Click the radio button to select individual medication
- Click Save at the top right of the screen
- Select Responsible Team Member (team member who confirmed delivery)
- Click the drop-down arrow in at the right of the Select Medications field to select team a team member if different than the pre-populated logged in team member
- Add Note (optional)
- Select Delivery Date
- Click the calendar icon to change the date if different than the pre-populated date
- Select Delivery Time
- Click the clock icon to change the time if different than the pre-populated time
- Click to select Last Injection; Next Due Date becomes hidden
- Click Save at the top right of the screen
Medication delivery is added to the bottom of the mobile app screen AND to the web application; Next Due Date no longer appears in the web application view
Mobile App Web App
Edit Medication Delivery
- From the Medication Logistics screen, select the Edit iconnext to the medication to be edited
- Update medication information
- Click Save at the top right of the screen
- Medication displays updated information including notation of edit
Medication Not Delivered
- Click the Add Medication Delivery button
- Select Medications
- Click the drop-down arrow at the right of Select Medications
- Click to select Non-Injectable or Injectable
- Click the radio button to select
- Multiple non-injectables OR an individual injectable
- Click Save at the top right of the screen
- Click the Medication not delivered checkbox
- Select the reason for not delivered from the Select Reason drop-down menu
- Select Responsible Team Member (team member who confirmed delivery)
- Click the drop-down arrow in at the right of the Select Medications field to select team a team member if different than the pre-populated logged in team member
- Add Note (optional)
- Enter attempted Delivery Date (prepopulates selected date)
- Enter attempted Delivery Time
- Enter Next Due Date (injectable only)
- Click Save at the top right of the screen
Medication not delivered is added to the bottom of the mobile app screen AND to the web application
