How to Unlock an Account

Instructions to Unlock an Account 


After 3 unsuccessful log-in attempts by any VCP user, the VCP will lock the user’s account. Local Admins can 
 unlock “Locked” Team member accounts from the Team Management page in the Web Application.


Step 1: Click the name of the user's team in the Team Name column


Step 2: Click the Team Members tab located next to the Team Profile tab


Step 3: Locate the name of the locked Team Member by scrolling, searching or filtering by status

  • Team Member is displayed with a "locked" status


Step 4: Click "Unlock" in the Actions column 


Step 5: In the prompt box, click the Unlock button

  • Team Member is now displayed with an "active" status


Step 6: Team member must reset his/her password after the account is unlocked
