Instructions to Unlock an Account
After 3 unsuccessful log-in attempts by any VCP user, the VCP will lock the user’s account. Program Assistants and Local Admins can unlock “Locked” Team Member accounts from the Team Management page in the Web Application. If you are currently unable to log in, it is recommended to review How to Reset Your Password under Mobile Guides, reach out to a Program Assistant/Local Admin, or open a support ticket.
Step 1: Click the name of the user's team in the Team Name column
Step 2: Click the Team Members tab located next to the Team Profile tab
Step 3: Locate the name of the locked Team Member by scrolling, searching or filtering by status
- Team Member is displayed with a "locked" status
Step 4: Click "Unlock" in the Actions column
Step 5: In the prompt box, click the Unlock button
- Team Member is now displayed with an "active" status
Step 6: Team member must reset his/her password after the account is unlocked
